While May is still early in the growing/harvest season, a lot of fresh produce arrives now at local farmers markets in Chicago. We’ll have lots to choose from at this point; so expect tasty vegetables from Brockman Farms, Nichols Farm, River Valley Ranch, Klug Farms and more. This will be the first of my “seasonal” pop-up dinners that will be featured throughout the summer. BYOB, only $125/person+tax for this full evening, multi-course feast. Limited to just 18 seats. Twilight Dinners usually sell out, so make your reservations early.

SUNDAY MARKET & Breakfast Cafe
Every Sunday our Breakfast Cafe will feature a different handmade breakfast sandwich and hot-brewed coffee for sale. And our Sunday Market offers thoughtfully prepared foods—both fresh and frozen—to take home and enjoy. Varying weekly, offerings include homemade sourdough breads, soups and stocks, pickles, cookies, pasta sauces and pestos, ice creams and sorbets, roasted meats, fish, and more. Wake up with a breakfast sandwich and cup of coffee then shop our market specials.

STAY TOGETHER: A Family Style Supper
For one night only, TK will offer a simple, seasonal, warm and welcoming family style meal. Featuring both savory and sweet dishes, this menu will be released just a few days prior, but will include breads, veggies, seafood, meat and dessert. The meal will feature several courses served on platters to pass and share. No reservations required; seating will be first come, first served. Walk-ins welcome. Only $45/person+tax. BYOB, communal seating, lots of fun!

BURGER SHOP: One Night Only!
Twilight Kitchen hosts a special evening cafe, featuring different burgers with custom toppings on homemade buns. The TK House Special: Pimento Burger will feature ground sirloin, pimento cheese, dill pickles, sliced heirloom tomatoes and butter lettuce. I will also offer veggie burgers and a variety of sauces. All burgers are $15 and come with your choice of a side. You can pre-order here or pay when you come in. Grab your favorite beer or wine and join us for this special event. No reservations necessary, first come, first served. Walk-ins Welcome.

Cooking Class: BAKING BREADS
Learn how to make delicious sourdough bread at home in your oven, with minimal effort and only a few tools. I will cover different bread recipe ingredient ratios and shaping techniques. All participants will get to take home some of my personal sourdough starter as well as their own loaf of bread. I’ll provide drinks and light snacks for a tasting menu too. Limited to just 8 students, this is always a very popular class that fills up quick. I will provide all ingredients, tools and instructional handouts. Class size is limited to 8 people. $65/class. No prior experience or equipment necessary.

COLD RAIN & SNOW: Twilight Dinner #23
Twilight Dinners return in March as we head into the early Chicago Spring. While there is not much local produce at this point, I’ll be making a fun and festive, multi-course meal to feed the soul and engage your senses. Join with your friends and neighbors for a late winter/early spring feast. BYOB & communal seating. Limited to 18 seats; make your reservations early before they fill up.
